Paulson Pulikottil spent his early childhood (up to 8 years) in the urban centres of Ernakulam and Thrissur, Kerala. The rest of his life was spent in a sleepy rural patch of Kerala, rich in natural beauty, fauna, and flora, situated between the Arabian Sea and hills, surrounded by a lake and numerous trees. A significant portion of his adult life was spent in Bangalore, Pune, and Sheffield, with brief stints in the US and UK.
The Lord helped him travel a considerable part of the world, exposing him to diverse people, cultures, and languages, and enabling him to gather a considerable cache of friends.
He was a seminary professor for over 40 years and a pastor for 19 years. Currently leading post-seminary life, he doesn’t consider himself “retired.”
Presently, he lives in Bangalore (Bengaluru).
He is married to Sheela. They have two married children — a son and a daughter, and six grandchildren.
He speaks and writes in Malayalam and English.
